Drug And Alcohol Screening Test
Does a standard pre-employment drug screen Test For Alcohol?
I know I’m probably just being paranoid, but I finally received a job offer and filled out all of the paperwork for background check and everything and sent it back same day, then went and celebrated with friends. Probably a bit too much. Anyway, the next I got a FedEx with a form to go to a lab for a drug screen urinalysis. I got all the other forms by email, but apparently they had to send this one separately. So I went off and did the test. It was something like 15 hours after, and other than a headache I’m sure it was gone. But was it really gone? Do they even test for it?
No your fine, Testing For Alcohol through Urine Tests is very uncommon perhaps even non existent. Even if they did, the alcohol would be out of your system by the time you recovered from your hangover. Hope this helps!
